Nice ending on this issue, April really loves the boys and they love her too. Leo put off his depression and gain more confidence, when he saves her from the ice.

@gexup And right as this issue went to press, the animators at Murakami Wolf were drawing up that famous yellow jumpsuit. It's crazy how many April variations there've been over the years (I've seen her hair every color except perhaps true blonde).

Sometimes we, Turtles fans, tend to forget how much of an important character April O'Neil actually is. I like this issue a lot because it shows her pain of seeing the Turtles struggling with Splinter missing & her own home destroyed by the Shredder. If you can remember, this issue is from the scene of the TMNT 1990 movie where she basically talks about the Turtles living in the farm.
I think I like the original comic series by Eastman & Laird the most because of characterizations like this =)
