A new tv show based on a book from the Pretty Little Liars author is set to hit ABC Family. Stay tuned for the deets!

Hi everyone. I'm your host Dana Ward and this is ClevverTV. Today we've got an update on a new show hitting ABC Family, a network that we can count on for the coolest new shows. This one is The Lying Game, and it's based on the book by Pretty Little Liars author, Sara Shepard. This show stars Alexanra Chando who just so happens to play BOTH twin sisters -- one is a foster child, Emma, who makes a deal with her sis, Sutton, who got adopted into a rich family. Emma pretends to be Sutton, leading this totally different and upper-class life while her twin searches for the truth about the mother they never met. Apparently, Sutton never returns as planned, and Emma is trying to figure out what to do about this whole situation. This is why the title, The Lying Game, is just oh-so-perfect for the show. Some others making up the show cast include Kirsten Prout, Allie Gonino, Andy Buckly and others. Like we said, this is based on the book by the author of the Pretty Little Liars series. Obviously, PLL has been quite the hit for ABC Family, so how do you think The Lying Game will compare? Do you think viewers will love it as much as PLL?? This show has little relation to the book and I think that the theme of the book is more exciting and interesting than this theme. I mean the theme of searching for the murderer of the long lost sister is more exciting than searching for the mother. I guess, I don't now the show. I just watched the trailer of it, but what I saw was a little bit depressing..(maybe because I started reading the books and I already give an idea of how the show has to be)

IMO the young actor who plays the main characters does a great job. But why not just hire Tori Black? After all she's the spitting image of the Emma/Sutton actor.

its not that big a deal just cause the actor plays both characters. get over it! just about any shows that use twins do the same thing

pretty little liars is and amazing show and i love it, but the lying game is still wayy better in my opinion. it pisses me off when people always say PLL is better ,its getting old. and the lying game is new and fresh, with new drama. BUT BOTH SHOWS ARE AWESOME
