"Then God said, 'Let us make man in out image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.' So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them." Genesis 1:26-27 (NIV)
--------------------------------
God created man in the image of him, for we are all worthy of him, and everybody deserves great things. So remember this: You are made in my [God's] image. You are worthy not for what you do, how you look or what you own... but because I made you.
You are worthy- because God made you. Forget everything else- Having the nicest clothes just means you have nice clothes... having a great cell phone JUST means you have a great cell phone. But being made in the image of God, means you are worthy, to do anything, you have a right to be righteous!!! AMEN!
what does that--in the image of god actually mean? it couldn't be the physical
likeness, for god is a spirit, without form. is there a place in the old testament
actually describe what god looks like....? we are the ones concluded what god
looks like thinking "if it says that than god must looks like us" therefore......but
what does ".... in his image, his likeness, male and female created them he."
does that mean god, a single entity is a hermaphrodite?
