Im a Noob so dont make fun of me, but is the coil spring the spring being replaced if I wanted to install Eibach? or is there another spring above the Shock absorber? I drive a w124 mercedes. Thanks in advance.

@Hansman381 Just one spring at each corner with a total of 4 springs on the car. To answer your question yes the big spring you see in the video is the one that needs to be replaced. Their is no spring above the shock absorber. If you plan on doing this yourself I don't recommend it for someone who isn't very skilled because the spring is in your face and its very scary.

hey, how would you remove springs off a Mercedes C200 - W202 please?

@dipzwun Its the same was as in my video. This applies to most newer Mercedes today also.

hahaa! I love it Chris. The way you move around the area and the video clarity makes me feel like I'm there with you! I didn't realize until now how much effort it would take to replace the rear shock...and I'll be doing the same thing in about a week...waiting on shock. Thanks for sharing! :)

@javelinAM You can remove the rear spring faster without the Mercedes spring compressor but it will be harder to install it. I only do what you see in the video because I layers of safety Jack under the control arm, spring compressor, and spring is held in to the lca so it wont fly away.
