Thank You for this. I'm looking to move as well and this has really inspired me! Growing my own food is my "dream" and finding a place where I can do that is really the next step I know I need to take. Many Blessings to You and your Lovely Family (Love the Joy in Your Wife's voice, would like to see Her more often). Namaste My Friend.

I have one more thing to say, you guys will be blessed in choosing what you know is healthy & balanced for you and your family.

Congratulations! I've been thinking the same for the future because I'm also getting the same extremes in temperature. I wish you the best! = )

Wow, thats great you are moving. My husband & I have lived on Oahu, Hawaii for about a year. We like it, but as I'm sure you know Hawaii is very expensive and what I really miss is latin culture. Big Island is great, but its very remote concerning the rest of the world. My husband lived for 6 years in Costa Rica, he misses it so much, it definitely has its 3rd world issues (you must have patience), but the people are great & very aware of respecting the land. Good luck! I'm so excited for you.

I had so many stink bugs last year in my house, I am making jewelry from their carcasses. Recycling, eh?
Organic NEEM oil works great. Spray the whole yard with it. Garlic works pretty good too. They make a garlic barrier spray that keeps bugs away, but the neem oil is much more effective if you are already infested.

@amusingisthedawn I have talk to some of the local gardeners that said it is too late once the bugs are there and top of that it's not 100%.
