The "Dobro" is built in the 30´s by "National" (one of the brothers Dopyra). It is a tenorguitar and was used in the Jazz, also today.

I love this group! Their first album is one of my all time favorites. I believe the guitarist was actually playing a dobro! I've never heard this outside of blue grass music. Very original; great sound, great solos.

Saw this band a couple of years ago at the Enkhuizen Jazz Festival. They were magnificent. Their CDs are a "must have" for every collector.
