So how do you even know the bible is the truth? All religion is evil. Its written by mortal men to control people. Wake up. Even if it is the word of God, how do you know it hasn't been tampered with in 2000 years. Its really a load of bull. I used to be Christian too. I'm sure you think i have a "demon" in me. Confronting,to the point,narrow,very consistent,not easy to digest,convicting,slap to the side of the head, a cup of cold water to the face.Hopefully enough to stir me to repent and become an ardent follower,rather than a luke-warm mush! @BiGMANJOE32 Many ex-christians Believed that they had a relationship with Jesus, believed that they heard him speak, believed that they were his etc. The way you have phrased it however is setting up the responder to fail.

Why? They will say no, because they will now believe that these experiences were not real, and that Jesus was just a man who is long since dead. Yet if you had asked them when they did they would have said “yes I have a relationship with Jesus"

@cwross1976 Technically the argument is flawed because it is only applied to the specific books that they are written in. Other wise you’d have to admit that the bible is going against this commandment as its combining books, subtracting others etc.

Unless this was planned from the beginning, but how would you test that proposal?

You realize that the bible is a collection of different “books”. It was not put together until around 350 AD. and there were many scriptures that were considered holy but were not included because the majority did not agree.

Such as the book of enoch, book of Barnabas, Life of adam and eve, Gospel of peter, etc.

i think this clip applies to every single person who claims this faith. i know what the bible says. i also know that God knows things about us that we ourselves have forgotten, both goo and bad. His will be a perfect judgment of whether or not we are really christian or not. i say leave it up to Him to decide. when we begin to judge and accuse eachother we just play into satan's hand...
