Xarabank EgyptAir Hijack - Documentary Part 5

23rd November 1985. EgyptAir Flight 648 is hijacked by three terrorists on its way from Athens to Cairo. The aircraft is diverted to Malta.

On board there are 96 people. One of them is Jackie Pflug, American.

Once in Malta the terrorists start negotiations with the Maltese Government, at the time led by Prime Minister Dr Karmenu Mifsud Bonnici.

Some passengers are released but when the negotiations come to a stumbling block, the terrorists threaten to shoot a passenger every fifteen minutes. As passengers are shot, they are thrown off the plane.

The fifth passenger to be shot is Jackie Pflug. She is shot in the head and thrown off the plane like the others. But she is not dead...

Sakusia, Egyptian commandos had no many choices, they were dealing with fanatic ideological hijackers who threatened to kill one passenger every 30 mnts. Egypt and Malta consumed all possible negotiations with terrorists . you have to consider all surrounded circumstances to judge the situation. The Egyptian commandos have a good experience to handle with this salutations. look to Russians how they dealt with the theater crises in Moscow they sacrificed 130 hostages to free the others

Shouldn't the Maltese send in commandos, no they just surrounded the airport with their military. The Egyptians( experts in handling these situations) fucken killled everybody on board. This is where i send kudos to the French remember the Air France hijacking from Algiers? They stormed the plane with a genius strategy and shot all the terrorists dead. The French certainly showed the world that day don't fuck with us. If it had been the Belgians they probably would have sent waffles on board.:)

First it was Heysel then this hijacking? what does one have to do with the other? Well the Belgians and Maltese are crossover nations. These crossover nations are useless in handling crises. Who the hell are the Maltese anyways sounds to me they're a crossover between Arabs( North African kind) and Italians. Just like those Belgian Waffles how they handled the Heysel stadium disaster. Why the hell were Egyptian commandos sent in anyways? HEEEELO the plane is in Maltese territory.
