  • you should've shown how to do it WITHOUT embedded path, would've made this much more useful.

  • I could really do with learning how to use this software, using a demo/trial version. Can anyone that uses this send any useful links please?

Yea, the image must pre-contain an embedded clipping path it seems.

I've even tried clipping an image within Quark then exporting it as an EPS, then re-exporting it back into Quark, but under clipping, the embedded clipping path option still does not appear.

I may need to embed the image using Photoshop instead.

  • The embedded path command can only be used if the picture is containing an embedded path (which was created and added to the picture before) before.

  • I'd like to know the answer that myself. I as well am using Windows, and I can't get the embedded path command to work either!

  • this was great tutorial but mine doesn't work in windows, diplaying only items, non white areas, picture bounds... NO EMBEDED PATH... HOW WOULD i turn it on? anybody help.. thanks....

  • Ive been an avid Quark user for 15+ years and always wondered if there was an easy way to do popouts - Thanks for the Tutorial!!! Very easy to follow your instruction - Love to see more tutorials from you.

... how the heck did you create that frame - did you merge elements? - I'm unable to recreate your frame with Quarks tools.
