for some reason this song reminds me of my mother.. we dont get along because of the long extended years of abuse i enduredm but i love her dearly from a distance... all in all... love is well rounded not jus from a intimate stand point.. i had to lose my mother to understand how to love my kids and myself in only the way i can.. and to beable to show them that they have to love theirselves first before anyone other than me can!!! ilovethisfuckinsong

This song is truly beautiful. It wasn't until I meditated on what love is, "Love is patient and kind, it is never jealous is never boastful or conceited, it is never rude or selfish, it does not take offense it is not resentful..." etc. that I knew that I couldn't love someone fully until I exercised what love is in myself. I thank Lauryn for writing this...it is a beautiful piece of my journey, I wish more could come to this realization:o)
