Morta Instruments: City of Glass; Isabelle

When I started this video I wanted to make Isabelle studio character, but then I ended up doing a vid about Isabelles grief and sense of guilt over Maxs death, so I focused on the chapter "The dark forest" where Isabelle explains her feelings to Simon.

0.01-0.04 Isabelle watches the city burning, then with Alec rushes back the House

0.05-0.08 Isabelle searches for Sebastian and Max and when she finds them Sebastian knock her out

0.09-..Isabelles dialogue with Simon


Summary (read if you haven't read the books): The shadowhunters fights demons that come to our world form others. In the book series the main threat is Valentine a once shadowhunter that thinks that the clave (the council that rules the shadowhunters) is corrupted, and wants to take control of it . Shadowhunters from all the world are converging in Idris (the shadowhunters city protected from demons by the guards , and invisible to humans) to decide how to act against Valentine. Isabelle Lightwood is a 16 years old shadowhunter that goes to Idris along with her family and her brothers Alec,Jace and the youngest Max. One night, when all the adults are reunited in consil, Isabelle is at home with Aline and Sebastian (two others young shadowunthers) , waiting for her parents to come back, when Max tells her that he has seen someone climbing the guards. Isabelle doesnt belive to Max thinking that he was dreaming and sends him to bed. Then a demon breaks through a window and takes Aline, Isabelle rushes out to save her and sees that the city is burning and full of demons, someone turned down the guards. Shocked Isabelle cant move, but Alec finds her and together they go back to the house. Alec leaves again to look for their parents leaving Isabelle and Sebastian to protect Max. Isabelle goes upstairs looking for weapons, leaving Sebastian and Max alone. When she comes back she finds that all the light are off, eventually she finds Sebastian and Max, but Sebastian knocks her out . Then we find out that the Lightwoods find Isabelle just in time to save her while Max is dead. In the chapter the dark forest we learn that Isabelles locked in her room wont talk to anyone, until Simon ( hes kind of her friend) goes to talk to her, and we learn that she blames herself for what happened to Max.
Thats pretty much what the video tries to recreate, Ive tried not too give away too much spoilers about the other characters.
