My commute takes me from SoDo to Seward Park. I take Holgate St out of SoDO to the Mountain to Sound bike patch. Crossing Holgate at the beginning of the path is extremely dangerous.
At a minimum there needs to be signs to tell cars to watch for bikes. My suggests are: #1 a bike lane on the eastbound lane going up the hill; #2 a button that can be pushed by a cyclist to active lights on the road way that tell cars a bike is around the blind curve and attempting to cross to the bike path; and #3 cut back the tree and brush at the top right of the climb (south side of Holgate) so cars can see cyclist and cyclists can see the on coming cars.
