I agree with what you said about him being a great statesman. His Weekly Addresses remind me of FDR's Fire Side Chats. Keeping the moral of the American people up by putting hope and determination into words.

The unfortunate side effect of being a great statesman like Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, FDR, Kennedy, or Martin Luther King is that taking on the enemies of justice means you'll have opponents who are vicious.
I'm not saying anti-Democratic YouTubers are vicious. But their sources of "news"--right-wing think tanks and the right-wing media--certainly are.
