Yeah its called a cover, but don't ever pretend to make a cover if you know that it is never gonna be not even the half good than the original... Man you should be killed for this song!!!
-

Find me a cover that has the same originality. Completely rearranged ad great!

he looks like Kirk Hammett of Metallica

This is absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for suddenly making me feel alive again!

I got here through MJJ RADIO that plays this on its rotation at the moment. Chris Cornell's voice is an instument of great amptitude and plays upon the blues of the song. The song itself is magical in the ways it can be taken into places you never thought you'd go with Billie Jean. This version sounds as if LED ZEPPLIN were around to interpret the song. CHRIS YOU ARE MAGICAL. MJ would have loved this so much.

thanks Chris!! Michael forever!!!!!!!!!!!!! RIP!

Ok i take back my words, this live version is fantastic. His voice blows me away.. his voice is dripping with sex.

I am not crazy about this cover, but at least Chris made it his own, plus his voice makes any song fantastic. Best rock voice ever.

I guess someone has to spell it out for some of the kids here: This. Is. Not. Supposed. To. Sound. Like. Michael. Jackson's. Version. Okay? It's called a cover, a musical re-interpretation, in this case a bluesy one. To cut you some slack, I'll grant that it's a concept alien to the MTV generation. Sad, sad world.

you are correct, and no one can sing it like Chris Cornell, and no one can sing it like myself, and no one can sing it like Sammy Hagar, and no one can sing it like Mick Jagger...no one has the same voice
