  • Every time I listen to this song, I am reminded of the pointless existence most of us live trying to pursue and accumulate things that have absolutely no meaning or purpose.

  • a true masterpice, teesri kasam is produced by lyricist shailendra, who has also written this lovely song. with him is the famous rk team: inimitable mukesh and great music director duo shankar-jaikishen. on its first release, the film was a big flop. three months after its release, stressed by financial problems, a heart broken shailendra died in dec. 1966. but his songs live and will do so forever.

  • Great !! . Every aspects of this film are the creations of geniuses.

The song directs us towards the rite way of day to day life .....

  • Na haathi hai na ghoda hai...wahan paidal hi jaana hai.......thoughts for all of us to mull over.......Judgement Day comes to all & sundry....Shailendra Saab, u're a genius......may your soul R.I.P.

  • They don't make films like this, do they / now Bollywood is crowded with half educated and illeterate people.

  • A rustic, simpleton can be biggest preacher....... imparting greatest wisdom...who can play it better then Raj Kapoor...Truely matchless song.

  • @aptkp You are absolutly right. Lekin kitne log hain is duniya mein who understand the real truth in this song. We all must be God fearing because ultimately we have to face Him for all our good and bad deeds. Great lyrics.

  • mukesh ji ki jai ho

    lata ji ki jai ho

    tumhari bhi jai ho

    sabki jai ho

  • mukesh-shailendra-raj-shanker-jaikishen spreading THE ETERNAL TRUTH. Sab kuchh chhod ke ek din, mussafir, CHALE JANA HEY. Jivan ek sapna hey,MAYA hey.

  • @sayanshsonu , thats not true. Hindu philosophy romotes this thought......and we do try to follow it in our lives......those who have seen the light! its possible and its a good thing...it really brings a lot of peace of mind..getting away from materialism...

  • @heavyatheart

    150% in agreement

  • Profound philosophy by Shailendra, the greatest hindi film lyricist. Excellent music by god sent wizards : Shankar Jaikishan.
