Tex512, the amp puts out 1500W RMS x 1 @ 2ohm. The subs are 750 W RMS each, so if you do simple math....750 x 2 = 1500. Why would I want to put more power to the subs than they can handle?
and mr2142, I'm not very good at metric, since I'm American, but I know that on a quiet night my best friend can hear me coming into town about 3 miles away (kinda helps since there is just a back way into town w/o anything in the way to block the sound -- buildings and stuff)

I love it. Very powerful (1500W RMS) and has a remote gain knob. It even lights up. Looks very nice at night :)

I've had this setup for a year and a half now, and it's still fine.

Well it would rip just the same...so I don't see the real point of doing it. And after it ripped I could always just scotch tape it together.
