During sophomore City Champs for the 1600m I came to the sorting late and was unable to run in the first heat. Big mistake. I ran the race alone and overlapped four people with a 4:53. Not a remarkable time, but a nonetheless it's an unforgettable race. As a senior I ran a 4:26.6 and I'm currently in my freshman year on Marquette University's Cross Country team.

video starts while I'm in my first lap, sorry about that. The race is 8 laps long.

  • Was this the armory?

  • @MegaBeanz Yeah, we have our championship meets in the Armory during indoor season. I ran there this year (senior) and finished with a 4:26.

  • If there's one thing you can't do, it's show off on the internet, bud. No one says I won the event (I didn't) and your assumption that I posted this to brag is based only on your faulty stereotyping of American athletes (which you should revise). I posted it because running in the wrong heat is hilarious, and most people agreed with me.

Anyway, no need to be so frustrated. You're from Uganda right? You probably ran my 1600 time before you were out of grade school ;)

  • Props to you buddy! I am still trying to get a 5 minute mile

  • Nice and easy... my coach tells me to "Hurry up, its a race"

  • @pangbournecollege44 I was some what seeing your point in this comment until i read "dumb american", you should shut your mouth, this boy could probally kick your ass in the mile

  • Awesome running, and it's even more awesome that your family is so enthusiastic and supportive of you! Most kids don't have that, so your pretty lucky :D

  • Love the family suppport.

  • great running, mediocre camera work

  • @SafetyMan911

Yeah, I thought I recognized the venue... I ran there for a few winter meets, I'm not nearly as fast as youthough. I run like 5:05's (im sophmore)

  • Jashaun Agosto ran a 1500, not a 1600 you dumb fuck. plus that kid has an unbelievable amount of talent, so just because this kid didn't get that kind of time doesn't mean he sucks. And its ironic how Europeans constantly call Americans fat and stupid. Based off of what you have said, all Europeans must be assholes who talk about other people's moms when they don't even know them. What's your mile time jackass? if it's under 4:37 then by your logic, you suck.
