While on vacation in Hawaii, President Obama has been 'actively monitoring' the situation involving a suspect who set off explosive substances while on a Delta Airlines flight. Chip Reid reports.

If Bush waited 3 days to seriously comment and his homeland security failed this miserably, the media would want his head.

Bush is still criticized for waiting 7 minutes after the 9/11 attack. 7 min wasn't even long enough to analyze what was happening yet. Maybe Obama closing Gitmo and his laissez faire attitude on terrorism is in fact dangerous to this country. Bush kept the country safe while Obama got a lucky break that 300 people weren't killed.

Insert George Bush into this and imagine the feeding frenzy of the press. This is the media's Boy no doubt about it. (No disrespect to the President himself) but what an easy ride.
