dancing Light sings "Abraham" (Peace Song)

Greg and Kiki of the cosmic acoustic duo called dancing Light, sing the peace song, Abraham.

The Jewish, Christian and Muslim religions have Abraham as their common ancestor. Abraham's son Isaac is considered to be the father of the Jewish religion. Abraham's son Ishmael, the father of the Muslim religion. Christianity can also trace it's roots back to Abraham.

The song Abraham is a call to remember this common Grandfather.

"As Abraham willingly built a sacrificial altar on a mountain, an angel appeared to him. The angel told Abraham that his children would be as numerous and as luminous as the stars. Abrahams two sons, Isaac and Ishmael, would become the fathers of the Jewish, Christian and Muslim religions. These three major religions of the world are all connected, all come from a single seed."

One little thing. It's not just religion. Judaism/Christianity/Islam are indeed Abrahamic faiths -- i.e. they follow the religion of Abraham. But the Isaac/Ishmael thing is slightly misrepresented in the text above. Isaac was actually the patriarch of the Jews through his son Jacob. Jacob's brother Esau integrated with Ishmael's children's community. Ishmael was Isaac's brother. Arabs are the descendants of Ishmael. So, by blood, they are brethren to one another.

Just wanted to clear that up.
