It was the A-side to There Goes My Everything. It was Elvis's first top ten hit on the country chart since 1958 and sold over 1,000,000 copies. It was released on the Elvis Country, and Welcome to My World LPs. It is available on The Other Sides-Worlwide Gold Award Hits, Great Country Songs, and Walk a Mile in My Shoes-The Essential 70s Masters, which is where this version is from.

I came here because today I was listening to an 80s rock song on the radio in the car and suddenly I thought of Elvis' music and how someone told me all modern rock comes from the sounds Elvis helped to create. I've never really appreciated his music before but maybe it's time I listened to his stuff.

I just love the KING!!!!!! I wish he was here to carry on the great sound he had. I did find a guy here on you tube named (rocky standridge) He's kind of a mix between Elvis and Conway, and he sings with the same passion Elvis had. Look for him, he sings several Elvis songs and some country too. His version of "don't close your eye's is amazing!
