In this tutorial I show you how to stop Adobe Programs checking the serial number for your Master Suite CS5.5, or CS5 that you can get for free here -

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vrp6tjNajw8

Add THESE LINES OF CODE TO YOUR HOSTS FILE

#Start of code

127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 practivate.adobe.com

#End of code

The path of the hosts file -
C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts

If you have a problem check that you are editing the *hosts* file NOT the *hosts.ics* file.

Enjoy :)

  • @randomtricksvideos sorry don't have a mac... although it's the same as the normal mac way so go find a mac video for CS5

  • ok, i watched your other video on this. dont know how to run a script... then saw annotation so watched this video. whenever i open the thing it opens a new notpad doc. not in the doc that i have already opened as an administrator... help me please.

  • @R3belNation all you need to do to run a script is open it. and you have to open notepad as admin the press Ctrl+O and find the file :)

  • @Telaros That is a effect for the video recording program, WIndows does not have that option.

  • I see everyone use that yellow sensor around the mouse yet I never see a mouse option to do that in windows. what is it called that does that yellow highlight and sonar effect on click?

  • English please and megaupload is block so change the link please

  • @Scorpical Ya, that's definitely ookie.

  • Thanks it works! But I din c *hosts.ics* in my etc folder. I only saw *host* file is it ookie?

  • For all those who are saying this is wrong, or don't know what this does: 127.0.0.1 is the IP address which references 'localhost', in other words, your computer. So adobe CS5.5 will try to access your computer to activate, rather than their activation servers.

  • FOR EDUCATION PURPOSES ONLY!!! :)))))

  • hmm i upadated my self :) Sir you made one mistake! every site you add on it should be 1,2,3,4 etc

for example 127.0.0.1 after this it should be 127.0.0.2 and then 127.0.0.3 and so on BUT you are using eacht time 127.0.0.1 which is wrong as far as i have learned in the past 2 hours :)

Thumps down if im wrong thums up if im right

  • im a NOOB i dont get it Question:

what happens when you put the code "127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com" in hosts file ?

  • working so far thanks!

  • amazzing"""""

  • why subscribe when u have only one video :P

  • if u can play guitar hero at the exact same speed , i worship u :)

  • @teatherm idk if you still care, but the lines of code are

    127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com

    127.0.0.1 practivate.adobe.com

and you put your serial in when you install the software your trying to get

  • this worked so well thanks alot man

  • thank you

  • What are the lines of code!! I don't get it and where do you put your serial number!!! I've watched so many of these videos and I don't believe any of them has fully explain it at all! This is soo aggrevating!

  • doesn't work

  • HELL YAH BITCHES THIS WORKS

  • you are a god. <3

  • it's working grate for me thank you very much

  • just put in one line:

    Ex: 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com/servlets/inet_sl/sl_v1_5_rclient

    Not: 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com/servlets/inet_sl/sl_v1_5_rclient 127.0.0.1 adobe.com/go/activation

  • remember that

    127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com

    127.0.0.1 practivate.adobe.com

Refers to the serial number u put in.

This works, it worked for me

    127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com/servlets/inet_sl/sl_v1_5_rclient

    127.0.0.1 adobe.com/go/activation

    127.0.0.1 practivate.adobe.com/servlets/inet/alm_rclient

    127.0.0.1 ns.adobe.com/asf/asf_1_0.dtd

If you want any adobe serial number message me.
