  • @streetpunk99 Personally I use a thick expedition weight wool sock, with a polyester or wool liner sock (if needed) to help wick the moisture away, keeping my feet dry and warm. I personally think having 2 thick wool socks will create to much heat, causing sweating which will just make it colder.

  • thats the worst advice i have every herd, if your feet are cold, wearing two socks dosnt help. I know it sounds dumb but the concept is loose and layers......generaly hiking boots are supposed to be tight i work outside year round doing conctruction and being from norther pennsylvania, it gets cold. I have tryed the two sock thing, and it seems my feet are colder. dosnt make sense but bulking up just seems like it will let your feet slide around more in the boot causing blisters.
