Your blind player is impressive! I didn't get past stage 3 in an entire weekend. My strategy against Drac's 2nd form is slightly different, even though it took me a while to work it out.

@crippledbazooka yeah, ProtonJon already did it, which was sort of what inspired us to do this one.

I think this was entertaining. I beat CV1 for the first time 3-4 days ago and it took a while. Figuring out that jumping and hitting Dracula's second form did a lot more damage made it a lot easier. I didn't grind any hearts or levelled up the weapon before the fight.

Nice, I'm currently working on a lp of this so I know all the speed running tactics. :P

O-o this was amazing,the only way I could beat Dracula was by cheating, I got to Dracula Legit as a Kid but could never beat em. Time to pay Castlevania 1 a visit

@Mordain607 That's interesting. MM3 is a cakewalk for me. i.e. check out my youtube page. I have videos of me playing both games and I have a tough time with MM1 in comparison.

Nah. Megaman 3 is harder, IMO.

@DragonslayerProd Can I join you in it? o3o

@RequiemPwnagePSN I wouldn't mind doing a metroid race.
I was rooting for Isaac. Not only did he play the game at the slower PAL speed (which, in a race, is a disadvantage), but he did AMAZINGLY well for someone who has never played the game before.

@TrenArvis Isaac is surprisingly good at video games in general. I was quite impressed with his showing as well.

What are the ground rules to these races? i.e. save states and such.

@gokaury varies depending on the game. In this case, saving was allowed only after death, since you lose your weapons/powerups anyway.
