@ndzapruder I'm pretty sure its his technique. He plays hard but has immense control, my guess is he gets all the sound he needs with as little force as possible.

@ndzapruder he just has them tightened down for tracking, it they arent they will carry out the note and bleed over.

Honestly, no matter what anyone says, Morgan Rose is far far better than Travis Barker. Just because Barker does more than rock music doesn't make him the best. I've seen Sevendust live many times, most of the time Morgan is headbanging and doesn't even look at his drums yet he never misses a beat. That's skill!
