Kevin Matisyn is my favorite lyricist making music today. Vocally he's right there, for me at least, with Maynard James Keenan. The new "Evans Blue" can blow me.

Wow. I love the guy's voice, and the arrangements. The guitar is awesome, and so's the piano.

His voice set this band apart from all others in a great way. The new guy is also a good singer...but so was my highschool chior teacher....singing good doesn't mean shit.....its the passion you put behind the voice....what the band used to have and lacks without Kevin.

It's kind of bullshit cause he wrote all the lyrics and came up iwith the name that has to do with a blue dye used to track blood in your veins. then they kicked him out cause he wanted to go a diffrent way artistically vocally, etc. but i expect great things from this new band parabelle. don't get me wrong the new singer is good but the least they could've done is let him take the band name with him. so I'm done with evans blue, and ready for parabelle.
