Multi-voltage Motor control UPDATE: RESOLVED!

with the help of 360fatcats, as he was the first to send me anything, i figured it out...and MAN DO I FEEL DUMB! because after i drew it out and looked at it...IVE DONE THAT BEFORE! i guess i needed a litte refresher lol

I think this is how they wire those multiple-speed fans that use DC, except that those run on 2 AA batteries (1.5 or 3V to the motor). Good diagram.

@codemsan I always use Paint (on XP not 7) to draw all my diagrams. I can draw the symbols myself, customize them, and not try to learn a foreign program. I grew up with this program and it's very versatile/useful for basically being free with the purchase of a PC.

@CameramanLink i use paint.net. you should look into it...its very similar to pait but MUCH more powerful, and doesnt use up much CPU or space for that matter. i dont really like learning new programs either but i rarely go back to pain now that i got paint.net

I used a similar setup on a small control box I made for a project I was doing, much better that a potential divider setup using resistors that just wastes energy.
