Amanda's P.O.V

I couldn't stop staring at him. I don't know him but he's pretty sweet. His name is Joe and he is awesome.
Amanda: So what else do you like doing?
Joe: Picking on my brothers, taking walks, and going to the pet store
Amanda: Why do you like going to the pet store?
Joe: They have new dogs every week and I get to take care of them since I go there all the time
Amanda: *laughs* Wow what a life
Joe: I know
Amanda: How come...you wanted to walk with me home? I mean you don't know me
Joe: I see you all the time walking home and we go the same way. So I decided to walk home with you today
Amanda: Okay.....I was supposed to be walking with someone but he didn't show
Joe: Who were you supposed to be walking with?
Amanda: A guy in school. Don't worry. He's just a guy who goes my way

Joe's P.O.V

Amanda is really cute. I kinda like her. What she doesn't know is ..... I know she knows Nick. I looked at her and she was looking around. It gave me time to examine her beauty. Damn! She was so pretty.
Amanda: So isn't this your corner?
Joe: Yeah
Amanda: Bye Joe. See you tomorrow
Joe: Umm...maybe we should talk more
Amanda: But you have to go home
Joe: I don't have to go home now
Amanda: Umm okay
I saw her blush and smile. She tried to hide it but she was too late. I already saw it.

Nick's P.O.V

DETENTION IS FINALLY OVER! I grabbed my bag and ran to the exit doors of the school. I ran to the side walk and ran and ran to look for Amanda. She's not home by this hour yet. I know. I was getting tired but I didn't stop running. I slowed down and realized what was I doing. Why am I such in a hurry for Amanda?. I don't want to be in love..... especially with her.
I slid down the tree which was right beside me. I sat on the grass and put my hands on the face.
Why does this girl know my weakness when we only met recently? Why does this girl know exactly what to make me smile? Why does this girl make me think?.

I stood up and shook everything aside. I walked slowly now. I looked up and saw what I didn't want to see. Worst of all....it involved someone I hated. And someone I thought I am loving.

Joe's P.O.V

I extended my hand so Amanda could get it.
Joe: Come on lets go to the park
Amanda: Umm...okay. But I am kinda waiting for somebody
Joe: Who?
Amanda: It's just no one okay?
Joe: if it's no one then why do you have to wait?
Amanda: It's just......nothing. I don't want to talk about it
Joe: Are you sure?
Amanda: Yeah
I am sensing it's about Nick. I know Nick walked home with her yesterday. I knew he falls easy for this girl. I mean I don't blame him.

Amanda's P.O.V

I don't know. But talking to Joe....reminded me of....Nick. How come he's ALWAYS in my head?. He's just some freak who wants to screw me in bed right?. But why do I have senses that I am falling for him?. I can't stop. He's all I can think about now. I have got to clear my mind.
