Intertwined was founded originally under the name "Pathos" in mid '94 by Starr Moore (Guitar), Ernest Basener (Drums), Randall Gifford (Bass) and Graham Michael Watson "Scapegoat" (Vocals, Guitar). The band spent a great deal of time developing this technical metal project. With no budget the band made many recordings but never broke the production threshold the music deserved. Basener left the project in '96 to further hone his drumming skills.
The band then enlisted the talents of drummer Clint McMaine and began playing live. By the end of 1998 the band met some success and shared a few dates with such legendary acts as King Diamond and Mercyful Fate on both of their tours that year. The band was also asked to open a Metal festival at the world renowned Whisky A GoGo.
McMaine chose to move back to his home state of Kentucky before production of an Intertwined album could begin. The band then reenlisted the talents of Enrest Basener and produced themselves Evil's Intertwined in 1999.
Origionally released though MP3.com several of the albums tracks made it to the top 5 on the MP3.com metal charts. Intertwined disbanded in 2000 to pursue new musical projects
