Building Implosion Up Close! Old Con Agra Building

This is a video I shot in Huron, Ohio today, January 8th. The video is of a building demolition of an old vacant factory known as the Con Agra plant. The old factory has been abandoned on the lake shore of Huron for years and the city decided it was time to take it down. Local demolition crews were hired for the task and decided that a building implosion would be the best way to bring the old building down. This was a huge event for the city of Huron. The implosion drew thousands of spectators as the crowds grew to thousands of people. The local police even made a comment that there was a bigger crowd than the local River Fest draws every year. Police agencies from many counties were on hand to deal with the crowds and to keep everyone back for their safety. All local roads within blast distance were closed prior to the implosion. The city of Huron even had a fireworks show prior to bringing down the old building. If you didnt get a close enough seat to see what I saw, then I hope you enjoy this video.
