Bears In Games - Top 5 Gayest 16-bit Games (That Aren't Cho Aniki) - No. 2 Streets of Rage

The second most gay game series of the 16-bit era has to be Streets of Rage, Sega's answer to the Final Fight and Double Dragon style of side scrolling beat 'em ups. Not only are they excellent, featuring incredible Yuzo Koshiro tracks that do amazing things with the Genesis's limited sound chip, but they also get increasingly gay. Streets of Rage 1? A couple of hot bears. Streets of Rage 2? A shortcut through a high tech tunnel under a pitcher's mound takes you to what appears to be... XXL in London, where you fight against a giant musclebound wrestler with a deadly flex attack. Streets of Rage 3 might not seem so gay, until you take a look at the Japanese version...

Aw, the game itself is fun too! Especially in two player. I actually had Streets of Rage 2 for the Game Gear, and they did a decent job of porting the tunes to the little guy.
