@demon69120, Anything but an iPad. Go to eBay and search UMPC. Most of the devices you'll see are far better than an iPad. haha

I Have a 3.00 GHz processor and 4 GB of ram in a laptop and it's still really slow booting and shutting down.... but it's better than the samsung UMPC and other desktop / laptop machines.

i think it's pretty fair... is just showing the default performance of each product, as it comes out of the box.
Plus even if there was 2 machines with similar specs vista would take longer just because it loads a lot more of useless apps.
