You are actually right... it's unfair to say "They are good just because they are Irish". Buy we can't deny Irealand gives tons of wonderful singers and musicians... Irish people has a very strong musical tradition, and that's a reason for them to give the world so many talented musicians. Of course, it doesn't make the talent and effort of each of them less admirable.
