Buy at http://www.shapeways.com/model/54533/connected_cubes_2x2x2.html Copyright (c) 2009 M. Oskar van Deventer Connected Cubes 2x2x2 are two 2x2x2 Rubik's Cubes that are connected by a gearing mechanism. This way, if you turn one of the faces of one cube, a face of the other cube follows.

This puzzle was 3D-printed using nylon-powder SLS technology, which explains its price. It is the very first prototype, costing its designer and maker a lot of money to create. Please do not confuse it for a cheap mass-produced puzzle.

  • @momtchil Sorry, I sell my puzzles only to people who take the effort to read the description.

  • I really love all of your cubes. I think you should have them mass produced so they can have better quality and be more popular. Good job.

  • @supremeoveralskaters I really don't want to start a comment war... but have a fun fact: everything I've read on Wikipedia has later been corroborated by a different source. And don't say I'm lying. It's true. Anyway, if you really are 25, then why not act your age and actually read before starting a badly-informed comment rant?

  • @GoombaGeek64 dude lol you must be a real retard for relying on wikipedia for ur facts.... wiki was made by kids and gets changed every day.. get YOUR shit straight before relying on a shitty source

  • @supremeoveralskaters That's just a depressing comment... I'd also like to see you make this for $10 out of clay. If you're as smart as your comment implies, maybe you should go on Wikipedia and look up "mass-production", "3-d printing" (two rather different terms!), and then "Shapeways". And then you should probably get a complete education.

  • @Ryxify Because it is the cheapest technology around for one-time productions like these.

  • @OskarPuzzle But the most important question is : WHY do you NEED to use that SLS technology ?

  • Why are all your puzzles so stiff ?!

  • @supremeoveralskaters I would be happy to accept your offer to build me clay models for $10 each. We can even negotiate a license fee, if you wish.

  • @OskarPuzzle dude ive made some of your puzzles from scratch with 10 dollar clay and i get same result.. why dont you make it from 10 dollar clay and sell its for 15? dumbass foreign kid thinks he can sell a rubiks cube for 400 dollars. its a wonder why noone buys form you

  • @OskarPuzzle thanks now i understand

  • @XStormDragon318X First of all, an SLS machine costs one million euro. Moreover, SLS use special fine-grain nylon powder that is rather expensive. But most importantly, Shapeways has a lot of handling on these models: cleaning, sorting, logistics, ..., etcetera. Even with all these cost, Shapeways' technology is by far the cheapest to get one-of-a-kind model.
