Wepeeler's FIFA History - 10k subscribers - Thank you all! [HD]

So it finally happened. Ten thousand subscribers. Still not quite sure what to make of all this. I blame YouTube.

The YouTube phenomenon hit the internet in early 2006. Video sharing made simple was now a daily routine in the lives of many internet users. Looking back, thinking that users would want to view gaming on the internet is an understatement. So, encouraged by PERPLEKKS, an EAUK forum member, I purchased my first digital camera, signed up for YouTube, and began to capture and upload my FIFA 06 goals. It all started by recording my 27 inch standard definition tube tv. Oh how far we've come.

During the FIFA 07 season, in which I uploaded 30+ videos, EA Sports took notice and invited me to their studio in Vancouver, Canada for a sneak preview of FIFA 08. Next Gen consoles had hit the market, and FIFA was looking for community feedback to make the FIFA series as realistic as possible. I'm guessing they like me, as I've been back to their studio every year since. Or perhaps they love giving me jet-lag.

By the time FIFA 08 was released, the demand for capture card devices (which allow users to capture video gameplay) was growing. This was like manna from heaven. My video quality improved, and as a result, my subscriber count started to grow.
