The night she arrives at the remote Collingwood lakehouse, Mari (Sara Paxton) and her friend are kidnapped by a prison escapee and his crew. Terrified and left for dead, Maris only hope is to make it back to parents John and Emma (Tony Goldwyn and Monica Potter). Unfortunately, her attackers unknowingly seek shelter at the one place she could be safe. And when her family learns the horrifying story, they will make three strangers curse the day they came to The Last House on the Left.

  • i personally think that a rapist degrades themselves to being something less than an animal. like a rabid dog that cant control itself. that is why i believe they should get the death penalty, and if a rapist affected someone in my life somehow i would carry out that death sentence myself. i couldnt care less if that makes me a murderer. in my opinion, rapists should be put down like the savage animals they are.

  • I despise rapists. I loathe everything about them. I am a man and just seeing the rape scene made me want to get up out of my seat and slit that guys throat wide open. I think rapist are the most gutless, most cowardice pieces of shit this world will ever see. All I can say is that watching this movie shows me that there are certain guys around this world that will do this when they can't get the girl to consent that makes me absolutely sick to my stomach.

  • @aIarshie Let me guess, you're american?

  • @aIarshie You are absolutely correct. There is nothing more disgusting than someone who violates another human being like that. If penalties like that were enforced it would lower the numbers of victims because people would have more fear of getting caught. I personally think people in the town should get to stone them to death.

  • GOSH i love this movie:)

  • @Longkquach Helderberg Nature Preserve in West Africa

  • This film was very difficult to watch and it scared the hell out of me, Sara Paxton and Martha MacIsaac are amazing actresses as I can only imagine how horrible it must of been for them to act out the rape scene as if they were actually being raped.

Rape is a horrific crime and its disgusting and as a woman I can say I was happy to see those scumbags get what was coming to them in the end.

  • which is more brutal this one or the 1972 one?
