Volunteering in Tahan-Tahanan (East Avenue Medical Center)

Tahan-Tahanan is a 'halfway home.' It is a home away from home for children with cancer, heart and kidney diseases and their family/caregivers. They come from the provinces and seek treatment in Metro Manila hospitals.

At Tahan-tahanan, they are provided with free board and lodging, together with comprehensive enrichment programs such as home study, arts and crafts, sports, music, theater, dance and others. Tahan-Tahanan provides a homey, safe, secure, well-ventilated, clean and environment-friendly living experience its clients.
