the ebay boost controller worked terrible. About as bad as the ebay lowering springs I tried once. The only good no name thing I've bought off ebay was my tower bars and they were great..

Right now my car is broken (coolant line in the most impossible to reach place) and its snowing outside, but after I get it running I will post a video on egr blockoff, hopefully that will be soon. My car has been down for 3 weeks and I miss it.

my turbo kit came with a cap that just screwed on in place of where the tube connects the egr to the manifold, if that makes sense.

whens the next vid brother would suggest how to get 60hp from the shift knob lol j/k. I know for us 97 ga16de's came with the god awful egr's. I asked this before but you never said "how to" go about blocking off that egr valve.

Very true, the only reason I didn't spend any time one EBC's is just cause I was sticking with the budget approach. A good MBC is about 50-75, and a decent EBC is probably 150-200ish, but they are definitely worth it.

I blocked off the egr, it is no longer in use. The O2 is now in the down pipe, just past the turbo, and thanks for the good words.

what did you do with the egr valve was there a place 4 that on the manifold and the O2 where did you put the pre cat O2 (Good set up btw)

good vid man. just a comment on MBC's vs. EBC's, good MBCs are just as stable and accurate as EBC's, but EBC's are easier to dial in to the right amount of boost, cuz you just pick the number and call her candy. you can also get dual stage manual boost controllers that you preset to 2 different boost levels, then run an electronic swith to your interior to flip between the two. simple flip switches will work.
