SHOWGIRLS, With Audio Augmentation

The film SHOWGIRLS is deservedly revered as one of the most overdone, over-acted, over-the-top films of all time. I am reediting the film and dropping in approximately 8,000 additional sound cues to further extend the mayhem.

This video shows a 25 second clip of the pre-show fight scene between the two cattiest of the showgirls.

I screen-snapped the nine seconds of fighting with my additional sound cues in Final Cut so you could get a visual sense of how much has been added.

Why am I doing this to a two hour film? Because I'm insane? Perhaps. But I like to think it's an homage to one of my favorite bad movies of all time.

@rreadable Weirdly, that last MEOW was part of the original film. Which is how I kept myself amused throughout this project, knowing no one could tell where my silliness ended and the film's "seriousness" resumed.
