This is a video request by asti80V!

I hope u all enjoy the slow education of my nosssse.

THINGS TO NOTE:
(Okay this is very helpful to newly pierced nasals to what to expect. But the 'hook' is actually called a corkscrew. And the 'hook'...corkscrew one is not meant to gauge. You compared the corkscrew to the L and said the corkscrew is larger because it's meant to gauge. No, you can buy all of those rings in size 18, which is normal nose ring size. If I wasn't educated on what I know, this video could be a bit deceiving. But to clear things up, 18 is normal size and all can be bought that size. (:

the " double stud" is called a nose bone

Thank you for clearing these things up, obviously im not a piercer myself. I got it when i was young and just made my own names for the studs. Im noting them here because i feel these are important things to fix. So thank you!

  • So I'm looking for a nose ring hoop thing if you look up Kesha, I want one like hers, where it is tight on the nose, where could I get one?? Thanks!!!

  • @loverofasong Its just a smaller gauge and therefor a smaller hoop. You can buy them anywhere

  • I was looking at the hoop nose rings, but I got confused when it said 3/8 or 5/16

judging by the photo the 3/8 looked bigger than the 5/16. I want a smaller one, so should I buy the 5/16th one? does the sizing work like gauges? the smaller the number, the bigger & the bigger the number the smaller?

just wanna make sure before I buy it.

  • @QnzkiddGrimeyy I was told it works like gauges but I have never bought any other nose rings so I cant promise you. It's good to consult with your piercer or an available one. But yes thats how the sizes work, like gauges.

  • I just got a hoop but it doesn't look like any of the ones u have and it's really small and doesn't bend and has a ball at one end that doesn't come off. How do I get that one in??

  • @itsgabgab I don't have one of those but my friend does, and she puts it in from inside the nose and pulls it all the way around til the ball hits the inside of the nostril. I'm not even sure if thats how you do it, but it should be able to bend by the way, it's kind of hard but after a few time the metal will loosen up.

  • Hi @Monalisa2005! Where'd you get the 3rd stud (the larger "L" stud) from at 1:40 - 2:28 minutes? If purchased online, can you please post the link? It's very cute and unique! :o)

  • @Monalisa2005 Hi there, what size is the first one that you took out? When I went to get my nose pierced they did it with a stud the same size as the first one you took out. It's been months since I got it done and I now want to start changing my stud. My mother bought me a new pack of studs, but the gauges were extremely small in comparison to my first one. They fit, but I like the gauge that they pierced me with. And I want to purchase separates. It would be helpful to know the gauge.

  • @Monalisa2005 I just got one today! It's really tiny. BUT! Since it's tiny (and doesn't have a ball) it kinda takes reshaping, you know - openig the little circle, and then closing it after inserting it. BUT! It's so solid, so har that now that I got it in, I can't get it back to it's original form! Any tip, pleae? :/

  • Hi where did you get that piecing the big l shaped one that started at 1.38 sec on your video ?

  • @solorzanolover000 generic 16 gauge i think

  • what gauge size is small silver one that you showed????

  • Can anyone PLEASE tell me if the L nose rings fall out easily? I have the corkscew type in and I like it but at the very bottom of my nostril you can often see the metal loop, which I hate that people can see it and I can't even feel when it moves so I don't know when it is showing or not. BUT I heard the L kind fall out VERY easily?

  • @LaVa14 i get a lot of them either at Clairs, icing, or my piercer. :)

  • Thanks that helped alot! Where do you get your nose rings?! They are so cute! I need new ones!

  • @therabbitprince thank you ^^

  • this was very helpful. some nosering designs are just awful. i love hoops though, and hooks.

you are very pretty, by the way!

  • @martygangsta625 i would just stick to using 14 gauge hoops and such then. It's much easier.

  • @Monalisa2005 No i actually have an 14 gauge stud in my nose and ive had it for about 5 weeks and i cant get an 18 gauge loop ring in like i can get it half way in but then i cant find the hole and it hurts ):

  • @martygangsta625 Is the gage too big?

  • Why does it hurt so bad when i try puting a hoop ring in :(

  • @MES98MES80 The one with two balls is for a septum which i have, but not a regular nose hoop.

  • THE ONE WITH 2 balls on the send can you put that in cuz im going to bye one and i want to know if =it is ment $your nose??? please comment soon ty.

  • @MES98MES80 np ;)

  • OMG THIS HELPED ALOT TO LOOK FARWARD to im getting mine done next week and i was wondering wat ones to use thanks :)
