Late last night while overzealously keeping time with my feet... One of my little egg shaker thingies rolled off of a shelf.
In a moment of drunken brilliance it occurred to me: "I could shove that egg in my sock while I stomp my foot!" Laughter ensued...
Then I thought: "I could tie the other egg to another part of my leg and get a fuller sound!" More laughter...
And then... Just for the sake of going over the top... I decided to plug in and get a sloppy cheap electric guitar sound on my lovely 1936 National Trojan!
Yes I know some might find it sacrilegious to distort a vintage resonator like this, but... Well... I guess that's part of the reason why I did it.
I certainly don't think this guitar sounds BETTER like this, but (in my neverending quest for new sounds) I've been longing for an electric guitar and/or cigar box guitar. Since I can't afford to acquire either right now... This is what I'm settling for.
All the knobs on my amp and preamp are mostly a mystery to me. This is not the electric sound that I'm really interested in, but this is what I came up with for now...

I've had one of these babies for 19 years. The best sound for this kind of stuff.
