  • Liberalism is not belief in free market. The above philosiphy is just another plot to deciet innicent society. Obama is practicing contrary to the obove philosophy.

  • @macdogq Please, learn some grammar before commenting on political philosophy. Reading a little bit wouldn't hurt.

  • I believe the uploader has confused "liberalism" and "libertarianism".

  • @Illarius No, I have not. Read some political philosophy before commenting on this issue. Thinking out of your nationalist box wouldn't hurt either. Liberalism was not invented by the US.

  • This is definately a pro-liberal video. Here is what I think liberalism is: If the Bible (the best selling book of all time, thus far not disproven, rather proven when tested) says to do something, liberals say not to do it. If the Bible says not to do something, liberals march and demand the right to be able to do so. If we disagree with their ideas, we are called 'hatemongers.'

Liberals, I thank you for celebrating and tolorating my diversity; I am an old-fashioned consertive.

  • @tompitts1 Jeez... you've made my day. Can't stop laughing!

  • @iron100159 I'd not say that it's simply the equivelant of libertarianism. It's rather a forerunner which has 2 heirs. Firstly as you said libertarianism, but also what is known on the Continent as conservative liberalism, in short called liberalism without adjectives. The second is also the main right-wing ideology in Europe (and in that respect I slightly agree with the hyperbole of @thehappycamper308 that "[n]othing positive results from Liberalism").

  • FART NOCK FARG LARNK LARK TARK FLONK that is how red necks speak

  • @iron100159 but you're also on other "political" videos...regardless about what not, listen, everybody has an agenda, you're just being ignorant about yours

  • @thehappycamper308 Ummm. I'm just stating the historical fact that the liberalism practiced today is not remotely the same philosophy practiced when the constitution was written. and that old style philosophy, known as classical liberalism, is what this video is talking about. it wasn't a political point, it was an observation about a specification in the video.

  • @iron100159 yet you're on a Liberal video throwing your ideas around.

  • @thehappycamper308 sorry. didn't come here to debate political points. maybe some other day. But keep on believing your own thing and what not. :D

  • @iron100159 true but “Charity is no part of the legislative duty of the government.”

― James Madison. stop social welfare, it's not helping anything. you don't give people who don't have money, money. because, more money will never be enough. stop Liberalism and their govt handouts. Stop the ridiculous regulations so companies WANT to be here, quit driving them away. Decrease taxation so people and businesses will have more to do more with. Simple!!

  • I believe the problem with this video is that it tells of CLASSICAL liberalism which was from the 18th and 19th centuries. Today, its the equivelant of libertarianism. Many classical liberal ideas such as democracy, seperation of powers etc. are pretty commonly accepted by all parties today. Neo-liberalism or progresivism is the modern liberal movement. Its not the same thing as classical liberalism but neither is conservitism. They both contain some aspects of it. now shut up and learn history

  • @thehappycamper308 The government actually has the right to regulate the economy. Its one of the few clear powers the government is given in the constitution. No matter, the founding fathers also left us the ability to change our government as time went on based on changing knowledge and demands of the people. So America started out very capitalist, but should things operate in 2011 how they were in 1788. The founding fathers would say that they don't neccesarily have to if we don't want them to

  • Liberalism is the substance that is killing the United States. Nothing positive results from Liberalism, and there is proof of that over the last three years. This Nation was founded on Conservative Christian Capitalist values, and that is what's best for America. We need smaller government agencies, less government agencies, less taxation, less government spending on social welfare programs, less governmental regulations, and a part-time legislative branch.
