The Perch Candy was originally a warmwater streamer for perch, bluegill, and other panfish. When Matt Minch discovered it worked well for bass and pike as well, he started using it more widely to find out what else would eat it. The answer, big rainbows (several from 27-30 inches), is surprising for a chartreuse fly. This much larger version is a dedicated big trout, bass, and pike fly. • Nice camera angle, nice fly. How deep would you fish this?

  • great fly. I can see this working quiet well in smaller sizes for the panfish in our area.

  • This has got to be one fantastic pattern. I can't wait till this Summer to try it out.
