@onimas1 Basically BJJ came from Kosen Judo so the basic fundamental techniques are the same. The only thing that's really different is that leg locks aren't incorporated in Judo as they were thought to be too dangerous for practice, although my dojo teaches them as well. I will admit that BJJ has a sharper ground game, but this happens when all you do is focus on one aspect of the game. If I were you I would train Judo 1st then BJJ. You'll be better off, and a more complete martial artist.
