A compilation of ALL of the goals kicked by Geelong in the 2011 AFL Grand Final between Geelong and Collingwood, won by the Cats over the Magpies 18.11 (119) to 12.9 (81).

I'm a WCE supporter but...

Varcoe is the most UNDER-RATED player in the AFL.

He's got blistering speed, penetrating disposal accuracy, and reads the play like an absolute fucking genius...

I don't get why the Melbourne media don't talk him up more...

I'm a Saints fan but, gee, I enjoyed watching that! Collingwood - the only side in the history of the VFL/AFL to only lose to one team in the year and NOT win the premiership!

@Hammersley1967 He can go missing for extended periods and his consistency is something the club has tried to work on. It there were a few less of the quiet patches, he could be anything.

AND totally agree about Franklin.

And speaking of overrated players, I'm a WCE supporter, and no doubt he WILL be an amazing player, but the way the commentators and media pundits have wanked on about Natanui defies all logic.

He's a DEVELOPING player! The highlights reel for players like Franklin and Natanui are impressive for sure, but for consistent A grade performance, give me Kelly and Varcoe any day.
