I replaced the old 3A 25.2v transformer for a twice as big, 10A 25v/50v High-power transformer, Run through a voltage tripler, first is 75V, then 150vdc @ 5A. Mosfet is an FQA8N100C 1000v 32A mosfet. Any questions contact me by PM or leave a comment below!

  • Why dont you run this at a higher frequency? Flybacks normally make the biggest arcs around 20+Khz

  • @juniortore1 Since you can tell, the ferrite on this flyback is separated into 4+ pieces held together with duct tape, therefore it's resonant freq. is alot lower, but arcs are still the same!

  • Epic arc!.. nice breadboard setup, good work man I subbed u

  • Wow, that's cool!

  • @zker666 Oh, I always mess with air core space, but I never do it that low. The one in my last video was made slightly bigger. To be specfic, as thin as a radioshack resistor cardboard packaging.

  • @HazzWold1993 Haha just use and external 12V supply if your going over 35v!

  • @HazzWold1993 Eirik's Flyback Driver. Uzzors2k can give you all of the details

  • great video thanks, i don't fly back

  • @PhxSt0rmz Hhaha i put a little plastic knob on the pot to keep me from getting shocked every time!

  • @juniortore1 aha im still collecting parts for Jan's circuit, i got most of the stuff but i still need a few vital components.
