Palestinian Land Owner Threatened by Israeli Settlements - 1

Journalist Robert Fisk visits a Palestinian whose family home near Jerusalem is threatened by expanding Israeli settlements. Some of these settlers are interviewed in part 2. The settlements are intended for "Jews only" and are a violation of United Nations Security Council Resolutions 242 and 338. Many scholars and activists argue that Israel's continued violation of these resolutions is one of the primary causes of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. This is part of a documentary Fisk made in the early 1990's about the causes of increasing anti-Western sentiment in the Middle East.

Can we agree NOT to have peace : )? who here wants the Palestinians to back off... there is a time to give up. if Israelis "gave up" and left the area... they wouldn't have a place to go really; would they ??? Israel, nor anyone would want to live beside people(not all but lots) who kill men women children at RANDOM.

@Nikolai9510 Thanks, I no longer believe the Israelis really want peace, I'm losing faith in a people which I've admired and thought so highly of. Defending one's country is one thing, but moving its own citizens onto conquered land is in my opinion immoral. Take care!

how much more violence against palestinians is the world going to tolerate. israel is behaving like a bully and the west does nothing. funny how things have changed in 50 years - jews were forced out of their homes by nazis, and now israelis are forcing palestinians out of their homes.

I'm a strong supporter of Israel but I really hate the settlers. They are the main obstacle to peace, I hope future attacks are aimed at them, not ordinary israelis.

God does not do real estate deals! It's up to us humans to divide the land. If only we could get rid of the religious freaks on both sides of this conflict, then peace would be possible.
