Great vid..I fly in East TN as well..Im gonna low fly a section of the Clinch river in the spring..As for our motors,Ild rather my motor in my ultralight quit at low alt then in the Cub I fly in.Ild rather hit at low speed in a light craft than much higher speeds in a much heavier craft..It is a risk, but very worth it..Keep it in the air man..

This video was a bit scary for me. I was thinking how bad a situation you would be in if that little 2 stroke coughed and gave up on ya. Hope that never happens to ya bro.
Great video btw. Tim

Being a GA pilot I hated non registered aircraft for many years. It was the lawn chairs with wings syndrome and all I ever heard was ultralight crash this and that.

I finally figured out it's almost always pilot error and these Quicksilver MX/Sprints have been around for about 30 years and are as safe as any other plane when taken care of. Yes, the two cycle engines add a new and sometimes challenging element but ARE safe if you do the research and know what these challenges are and how to deal with them.
