he`s the first one I found on this freaking youtube that can at least do a good job with the song. Great job you almostnailed it like Kenny Rogers version.

mickey's version is the only way to feel the song. you sound good, but you should listen to newbury then tackle it again. he played it alot slower, with more soul.

how is it confusing? It is a kenny rogers cover... he's the singer who made it famous and it is known as a Kenny Rogers song. Mickey wrote it, but as it's not known the general public as a "mickey newbury song" it would actually be more confusing to say it was a mickey cover!
