wow this guy is talented but i see NO resemblence between his style and Petrucci's whoever says so is a stinky douchebag and should stick their head in the sand, hes better technically than daniele gottardo thats for sure (even with a worse left hand fingering position, kinda awkward)

You can say that any guitarist is copying another guitarist.
Ritchie Kotzen (at first) -> Steve Vai
John Petrucci -> Steve Morse
Joe Stump -> Yngwie Malmsteen
Those are just to name a few. There's a difference between being inspired by them, and copying them straight out. It's by how they apply their influences and add in their own taste.

The solo definately had elements of petrucci's playing, but there was also a lot of Yngwie in there with the diminished phyrgian sweeps. Give credit. He is a unique and talented shredder, he's not copying anyone. :)
