Hello, I've been collecting rare films and television programmes for nearly twenty years now and I thought it was high time I shared some clips from a few of the titles in my archive with you nice people out there. If you've a similar passion and would like to trade material or just want to say hello, thanks etc. get in touch with me here or at statesedgefilms@virginmedia.com
I look forward to hearing from (at least) a few of you and hope that you enjoy my humble offerings.
THE ONE AND ONLY PHYLLIS DIXEY (1978)
In 1978 Thames Television produced this drama documentary on the life of Phyllis Dixey. For a declining number of the British population she is remembered for her "Peek a Boo" revues.
Dixey started her career as a child dancer in pantomime. Later, she secured a job in the chorus line with the impresario Wallace Parnell. This was the time of the grand revues and Parnell was famous for his glamorous productions. Later Phyllis found employment with the comedian and actor-manager Ernie Lotinga and toured Britain in a show called, "The Means Test".
More details on Dixey's life can be found at:

Excellent - I remember seeing this when it was first broadcast. I've been trying to find clips of it for years. Many thanks for posting.

Thank you for sharing this video, I really enjoyed watching it. Do you happen to have any films with British actors James Fox or his brother Edward Fox ?
